Aftercare is soooooooooooo important you guys. I’ve had people not do aftercare with me in hypno play scenes, and I’ve felt down and depressed for several hours after. No matter what kind of play that you do with someone, make sure you use appropriate measures to help your partner feel safe and comforted physically, mentally and emotionally before you leave them.
Personally, I prefer a cold drink, warm cuddles, and light/uplifting conversation to make me feel human again, especially after receiving degradation and sadistic play.
I’ve had a lot of subs use this term in various asks I’ve found in my inbox over the years, and in most of them, fear of being seen as “topping from the bottom” has silenced them from expressing themselves to their dominant in the very collaborative and constructive way that Pip did with me today. This is communication. This is not topping from the bottom. Also, if you happen to see Pip this week, be sure to ask her about her onesie.
